Young corner boy Kenard brings down the mighty Omar. Make your eulogies for one of Baltimore's most feared men here.

slim3833, I feel you on Stringer Bell. I wasn't happy about that at all. But Omar was even worse for me. I was so pissed off. About Kenard, rummor has it that the boy's from Prembico(i bet i misspelled that) took Omar out with Ak'47's. Word according to Spider and the girl on the corner from the murder scene. Don't think Kenard will get any credit for Omar's death until or unless he goes to baby booking.

if you all remember, omar broke code with Bunk because last season he told him no more bodies. What perfect way to let him fall it was so unexpected. This shows an evolution of a Marlo or Avon as a young kid. Imagine the respect and street credibility kenard will have forever on the baltimore streets. He killed the untouchable! I was disappointed when he died but after thinking about it I was not happy when Stringer died either. Its the name of the game. Hopefully the come out with another show is great as this it was my all time favorite

This is the first time that I've seen anything other than realism from The Wire. Omar had eyes in the back of his head, and he probably would have stared down that little punk, or at least he would have seen it coming. The character was definitely dishonoured by this killing. I like the thought of some little punk trying to take Omar down, but I'd have liked to see Omar cut him down, and stagger out of there, possibly mortally wounded, and if he had to die, he would die a lonely, agonizing death. Perhaps the police could have even followed the trail of blood to find Omar, and him and Bunk could have had that last eye to eye before he expired. That would have been much more fitting for a great character.

WOW!! just because that weak phony murder plot line was soooo un believable doesn't mean you have to make the show more real by killing Omar!! i mean he was based on Clint Eastwood movies - they aren't real!! Ay Yi Yi !!!!!

to everyone that says omar should have went down in a "blaze of glory", how soon you forget the shootout with chris, snoop and michael in the condo. omar survived the "blaze of glory" and what's better then surviving the battle with seasoned killers. omar is the man for coming out of that alive. he went down the way he should have, unspectacurlarly, now part of the folklore of the streets.

i was so pissed to see omar go out this way: dishonored. i understand that the show is true to the street, but omar deserved a big blazing battle to go out in. he deserved glory, even if he was a hood, not the shame of a little kid looking for a way up the ladder.

In all due respect to Omar, I also miss Prop Joe. He is another reason that Marlo should get his. Joe took Marlo under his wing and that punk had him killed. And Joe's nephew MR. Cheese needs his cap peeled for not being down for his uncle. I am a proud Wire addict. I have the first 4 seasons on DVD and I must say that I enjoyed the season when they included the happenings on the docks. I could not wait to see what stupid thing Ziggy was going to do next. -- Edited by 4sho at 03/04/2008 2:13 PM

Yes I hope they bring Omar back for the Last Episode. I hope that was not Dukkie dead on the preview. And I hope Michael gets Marlo and he and Chris straighten things out. Yah know what............................I hope Levy gets got in the same manner as Omar...........he deserves it. I'm still in mourning over Bodie/Omar/Deangelo T.I.P Hommies. What the fugg is up with Kima yah think she'd be happy ggggeeeeeeeeeeezzzzz "100% Customer satisfaction is unattainable".

Barksdale Gangsta "All due respect, Omar, but this is a Barksdale joint." Omar (removing his eye-doctor shades): "Do tell!" Anybody who remember one of Omar's best lines got to know his shit. No doubt, Omar be back.
