A friend of mine swears that it's Marlo, at the end of the show, shaking hands with that dude he walks up on the corner to. Anyone else agree? I say that's not Marlo standing on that corner.

Here's my prediction from March 3rd. It follows. I was wrong about McNulty and Cheese taking Marlo out. And if you replace Clay with Perlman, I was was on point! It was a very good ending to a very good run on the wire. ---------- March 3rd Posting Ok, here's what I think will happen. It will take two more seasons before this will become a reality. The editor will prove that Templeton lied. He will then realize that McNulty lied. McNulty's records will then be researched and the fact that the police were running their time through the homeless case is in danger of being exposed. McNulty will graduate from being just a drunk to also using drugs. The tables will turn between Freemon and Clay Davis. The end result will be a truce. Clay will be able to stop Marlo's attorney from being able to defend Marlo completely because Clay is able to expose the attorney's role in the entire deal. Carcetti won't be able to touch Clay because Carcetti's run for Governer or even a second term as Mayor is now in jeopardy because of the bumbled Police cases. Carcetti will attempt to keep Clay close by his side. Taking advantage of the situation, including the information in the folder on Daniels, the council president will make her run for office. Michael will go after Monk and Marlow. However, Cheese will take Marlo out. Slim will take out Cheese. Slim Charles will still be standing. Randy, Michael and Kinnard will develop into the new street heads. Kima, Bunk, Herc and Carver will go on with life as normal. -- Say, how she ticking Joe? This game is rigged, man. We like them little *itches on a chess board.

Ya'll can try and b politically correct all u want the finale sucked.. just as bad as the Soprano's Did. Had a watch Party over here and ever1 left in pissedoffidness (figure it out).. Waste of an hr and a half.. and 5 seasons of good TV.. Thanks HBO your the best! at being the worst!

"Something ain't right about you girl" ( or something like that) Marlo once told her "Your turn girl." -- Edited by Chrini at 03/09/2008 5:55 PM

Michael will hear Marlo is getting out and figures he will tell some onf to get him for killing Snoop,so Michael will wait for Marlo and get him turn tha lille kid that killed Omar and get out of town. I think a made for HBBO movie should be made to tie upall the loose ends and satify all of the fans with closer.

"How my hair look Mike?" "You look good. girl." Is this the first/one of few referrences to Snoop's sex?

This was/is one of the best shows HBO has put out it ranks up there with The Sopranos. Every season made you wonder how does a city like this, or any other city in the country operate when there's just so much "politics" involved in every aspect of life in the big city. The police department, city hall, the docks, the streets, the schools, even the newspapers aren't immune to the games that are played. I for one hate to see it go, but you hate to see any show wear out it's welcome. I'm looking forward to watching this episode to see how everything turns out.

Farewell to the best written, directed, produced and acted show on television. What will happen? Michael becomes the next Omar. Duquie becomes the next Bubbles. Kennard eventually is murdered on the corner by another kid. Kima goes to IAB. McNulty is offered an early retirement or jail and he takes the fall for Lester. Because of the illegalities of the wire on Marlo, Marlo goes free. He may become the next Prop Joe and eventually be murdered by another Marlo. Gus get fired after Templeton's articles are revealed as fraudulent. Templeton goes on to a "major" newspaper in DC or NYC. All else will remain the same, as in real life. If nothing else, this show has remained true to "real life". Carcetti goes on to campaign for Governor and Noreese becomes the next mayor. Nothing happens to Sen. Davis. Prezbo continues teaching. Bunk and company continue to be good police. The Corner continues with its life and death struggles. And The Greeks will remain untouched.

I forgot to add one thing to my prediction. Syndor will get exiled to b.s. police work just like lester did for 14 years or whatever it was. also, the police figured out the clock thing by dumb luck. syndor was using the mapsco and realized what the times on the clocks meant - nothing that was told to them by the greeks

I want to correct my own post. On second thought Chris will not get killed by Wee Bay, he's too hard core to just go to jail and get killed. If anything they will probably becomes friends and run things on the inside.

Chris get life for the murder, possibly get killed by Wee Bey. Marlo, Monk, and Cheese will get off because Levy will prove the Wire Tap was illegal and funded by the Homeless Case. Carcetti will be pissed and demand blood and since sh$! rolls downhill McNulty, Freeman and Sydnor will be fired. Daniels will be pissed but still try to take care of them financially with a separation package. Templeton's story will be bumped for the guy's thats doing the story on bubbles. Templeton will be pissed, have to apologize for being an ass, then get fired. The co'op will go back to everyman for themselves now that the connect is gone. Slim will kill cheese and work for the other fat man. Micheal might link up with the eastside dealers as well and may kill Monk also. Eventually he will become another Avon, but not in this episode. Dukie eventually becomes the next Bubbles. Kenard will be the next Omar except I don't think he's gay. Namand goes to college, Randy may too if he's lucky. And finally we find out that the Greeks set up Marlo by suggesting the clock system because knew he was going to kill Joe and they couldn't trust him. I never saw Joe use no clocks, why they start with Marlo? Things that make you go hmmm... Since the charge don't stick though they will just kill him. Remember, you heard it first here!
