DANIELS HAD AN EXTRA $100,000 IN HIS BANK ACCOUNT BUT I DON'T THINK THEY EVER REALLY SAID HOW IT GOT THERE. Maybe that's why daniels got extra pissed at carver and herc for pocketing that extra doe after that drug raid. I think carver and herc turned in $17,000 when they really found $22,000

I said from the time snoop and chris shot those new york guy's in season 4 was the green light for brother mouzone to come back and find out who did it. Asking omar again ofcourse. can you imagine brother mouzone going after chris and kimmi beating the crap out of snoop untitl she died like what chris did to michaels step pops.
it seems like they did not want omar to win anything from the time of the shootout in monk's apt. Why did you have omar going through the street telling everybody to tell marlo to 'come down to the street and dance", then dont let it happen. Werent you pissed when marlo snoop and chris met and marlo said "YALL AINT HEAR, OMAR BAGGED UP"
MR SIMON, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, WERE YOU MAD AT OMAR FOR SOME REASON AND THAT'S WHY YOU GAVE HIM SUCH A CRAPPY ENDING.

I couldn't agree with you more. I respect everyone of this board and their opinion. Alot of people say the show is as real as it gets. I agree and that's what makes the show so good. But at the end of the day it's a show and it's on HBO. They way they built up the OMAR/MARLO war........ I mean come on. Season 3 was the best. I thought the ending was a little weak. I wanted it to go out in bang. Coming full circle is alll well and good. But come on. I thought they could of did alot more and alot of people are disappointed. I mean, If I wanted to know how it really goes in the streets and the drug game, I could of watched A&E!

Please note that whether or not you think -30- was not a great episode, it was. I realize it didn't have an insane ending but real life doesn't either. I was only to relay that things go on regardless. Best part thought was when Slim shot Cheese and that guy got mad at first (of which you thought was becase he shot him for a chancie reason), but then said "WTF did you do that for? Now we're down $900,000." I could've died laughing, albeit a digusting reality of the streets. Simon, Burns, thank you, you two are genious and "The Wire" will be missed, very much.

You are so right, this entire season was like 'WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY DOING' I must say season 5 was worse than two because at least in 2 we got to meet brother mouzone and the whole omar mouzone square off in the hotel room. Your right, namond giving a speach was so wack ! If randy turned ganster they should have put him back on the streets.. What happened to nadine (freemons wife) she was so hot in season 1, last night she did not look that great.
When you end a series as great as this, you are supposed to bring back everyone. kimmi, mouzone, everybody. how is it OMAR is on the hunt for marlo's crew and hardly gets any of them. monk, chesse, etc etc.
It's like they wanted to to hurry up and get this over with.
My question is, if everyone is saying this is the greatest show, why is it ending. WHAT ELSE DO THE WRITERS AND PRODUCERS HAVE TO DO ?. There going to go out and make some tv show or series that no one is going to care about. The wire is the type of show you cant get tired of

MR SIMON, YOU NEED TO DO A SEASON 6 TO MAKE UP TO ALL OF THE FANS HOW YOU SCREWED UP SEASON 5.
THIS TIME, CALL KIMMI, BROTHER MOUZONE, NO HEART ANTHONY (DMX),MORE RANDY. GET SOME NEW MUSCLE IN THERE, "EXHIBIT FROM PIMP MY RIDE".
GUS FROM THE PAPER WOULD BE GOOD ON THE POICE FORCE TO STIR THINGS UP. yOU CAN DO SO MUCH WITH THIS SHOW AND IT SEEMS LIKE YOUR JUMPING SHIP AFTER 5 SEASONS. I HOPE YOU RECONSIDER YOUR OPTIONS AND REALIZED WHAT YOU HAVE.

You guys who said it did not look like the end i think your right. There is just way too much stuff left behind that they could make another 5 seasons. They could do an entire season on the jail system with chris, weebay, avon, monk etc etc also no heart anthony. They could wait 2 or three year for michael to get a little older and really play the part. randy looked like he turned gangster so i would love to see him hook up with mike to be stick up kids. isee namond becoming a cop and going against his old boy's
I THOUGHT IS WAS COOL WHEN MARLO SAID TO THE CORNER BOY'S WHAT THE 'F" YOU LOOKING AT. THEN STOOD ON THE CORNER BECAUSE THAT'S WHERE HEAD WANTED TO BE. I wish the would have ended it with marlo on the corner by himself the the show played the OMAR whiste (a hunting we will go) and have marlo looking around just to mess with our heads. then the show fade to black. weebay looked like a serious gangster when he was talking to chris.
they should have ended it with the omar whistle, just for the drama

I Personally Didnt Think That The Episode Looked Like The Ending.
It Looks More Like Its Leading Into Something, More Than Ending IT.
I Love The Wire, But That Ending Didnt Close Any Loose Ends, Other Than That Case, And Chris's Future.
I Truly Believe Somewhere Down The Road, They Are Going To Make A New Season. No Time In The Near Future Of Course, But It WILL Happen.

i do not see how anyone could be shocked/mad about dukie. i knew dukie was the next bubbles when he was too scared to go to his new high school in season 4. dukie loses his few friends. he has no real family. dukie becoming a druggie seems pretty obvious to me and i would think that most people could see that coming from a mile away.

Herc is taking care of Herc. There is nothing wrong with what he did. Didn't the department shit on him. You give a little you get a little. I'm probably the only person on here that has come to see that Herc has changed a little bit for the better. Before Herc was a dick for no reason, at least now when he's a dick its for the money.
