Didn't Michael say there would be more money coming when he handed the shoe box of money to Bug?

How can Cheese get at Marlo when in the previews they showed Kenard killing Omar by shooting him in the head?

i keep seeing people say poot carr is gonna be the next omar. if this is true i will b so pissed off. thatss just not his character. the lsat we saw he was alil bitch runnin and leavin his boy to die on a corner. that wouldnt b a person lke omar. the next omar doesnt have to be older cause omar himself startec wen he was a youngin as seen in the prequels.
and another thing the "next" omar isnt gonna be exactly like omar. he mite stick up dboys but i doubt he gonna copy omar to a tee with the shot gun and trenchcoat. so people r obviously lieing.

Y'all saying the "new" Omar...it can only be Darnell Tyson.

From all of the commentary, none of the other kids fit into his ideology, and here's why:

Randy seems to be broken from getting put back into the system and gettin' his azz kicked frequently. If Randy gets into the mix, he'll be more like Marlo because of the scorn from what he's experienced;

Kenard is too young, too beligerant, and too heartless. Somebody might wind up killing him;

Donut is a car thief. Omar doesn't violate citizens, but Donut will steal from them;

Namond and Dukey aren't built for this type of work;

Spider will only get as high as a lieutenant;

Justin will stick with the boxing;

Poot is too pussy-driven to be running anything. He'll prolly catch the bug;

Michael's only reason of being in the game is to take care of Bug. If there's a better way, he'd prolly get out and take it. Either way, Bug is going to grow up to be a "citizen;"

Darnell, despite his alcohol abuse, seems to have good sense, and his thoughts are a little more careful. When explained to the class on S4 that if a worker messes up, he is willing to give him a chance to work his way out of it (kinda sounds like The Greek) and make it right. There's no sense of getting rid of a good worker over some bullisht, follow? He made the rest of class calm down and listen to his reasoning, because they are were on the tip of violating the worker. If he dried up, he seems to have a better chance at climbing up the ranks. You never know...

You are not forced into Witness Protection. People leave all the time. I did think though that the Nicky Sobotka cameo was a bit forced in that scene.

Randy definitely is in ep. 56. Bunk is going through all of the old case files for Marlo's murders. He's working them all again, so he goes to the group home to interview Randy again about the Lex murder. Its not the same Randy. A year in the group home after the cops screwed his life up before has fucked him up pretty good.

I thought the same thing, but perhaps they released him once they realized they had no case against the Greeks (meaning that they were "out of pocket" and with the case pretty much ending there).

I agree that a movie is highly unlikely. They were going to do a book if HBO didn't greenlight Season 5, but I'm almost positive this is the final tale Simon had to tell, saving the closest to his heart for last having spent years w/ the Baltimore Sun.

On an unrelated note, was your past post an admission that Randy is the new Omar? LOL

I saw episodes 7-10 without having seen episode 6 which I saw yesterday. I guess Randy did make an appearance in episode 6 but that was his only appearance this season. Nick Sabotka makes an appearance in episode 6 telling Carcetti to "fcuk off." My question is I thought Sabotka was in the witness protection program. I mean this cat could take down the Greeks with what he knew and learned from the ports scam in season 2. If you guys want to make sense of the ending, keep an eye out on Slim Charles and watch Marlo start to lose his composure in episode 8, including his spat with Chris. I think a movie could be made after the series end, especially if Avon finishes the remainder of the sentence and hooks up with Slim. I doubt the movie will be made.
