The police brass changes, McNulty and Freamon look for bodies, Prop Joe pays his last respects. "Buyers market out there" - Templeton --------------------------------------------------------------------- This episode was pretty slow overall. I think it was slow because there was very little street action going on. Here are my thoughts: 1) The opening scene it so funny - kinda like Episode 51 where Bunk tells the murder suspect the copy machine was a lie detector. Basically the police see Kenard hide the re-up and bust the boys. When the police puts his hand in the bag to get the drugs out it turns out the bag has a bunch of dog shit in it. This throws Coliccio (spelling?) into a rage and he ends up being too physical with the teacher in the car who is trying to get by the scene, 2) Prop Joe makes Butchie's funeral arrangements and says he respects him, 3) Marlo meets with the Greeks and they allude that if Prop Joe was gone they would deal with Marlo, 4) Templeton interviews with the Washington Post but doesn't get the job, 5) It comes out that the information that Burrells has on Daniels has to do with some missing drug money from when Daniels was in the Eastern Division, 6) The guy shot in the leg last episode was not the same guy that protected Omar in jail last year, 7) Marlo is okay and satisfied that his money in the bank. Prop Joe takes him to his own attorney to give Marlo some advice on how to invest it. A funny exchange happens because Herc is in the attorney's office hanging out and Marlo asks him if the camera ever turned up from last season, 8) Omar was gonna kill Slim Charles but believes him when he says it was not Prop Joe that set up Butchie. So Omar spars Slim Charles' life and decides to go after Marlo's crew. He points our a lieutenant in Marlo's crew but I could not make him out. It may have been Michael, 9) Marlo and Chris and Snoop give Hungry Man to Cheese to kill because Hungry Man got mad at Cheese in the Co-Op meeting and embarassed him, 10) Beadie now distrusts McNulty and thinks he is back to his old ways, 11) Prop Joe was about to leave out of town to hide from Omar. But Cheese set him up and Marlo had Chris kill him in his own home. Martin -- *Nationwide*

> Hello All, long time no type to!!!! > > Why they kill ol' Prop Joe? > > AND do you think Marlo will die in the end? > > AND why is Michael teaching Dookie how to shoot a gun? Joe was guilty of applying the "share and share alike" principle selectively and to his advantage. It backfired on him this time. He's also guilty of being greedy. He could have just been happy as king of the Eastside and held that down forever. Instead he decided to form a Co-op to make even more. He isn't much different from Stringer, Avon, or even Marlo in that respect. I expect Marlo will find the same fate. Dead or in jail. In this case Joe was the very definition of a little slow, a little late. He was on to Cheese and didn't handle it right then. It cost him his life. Don't know about Dookie, and I don't speculate on previews.

True, I noticed that....but I'm wondering if it ties into Omar saying that he is going to get at Marlo's people first. I wonder if Dookie will end up using those shooting skills on 'ol Omar. Just a theory....you never know with this show. Omar came back in full effect, yo

MRod, just a note to say how much I appreciate your thread. You provide a very detailed synopsis of each episode, so if we miss something we can revisit the episode on "On Demand" with more understanding. I wish my pals Lucille08 and Soulsurfer would join this group. Please keep up the excellent work. -Puma

I just watched 54. Jeez! I think Cheese's name should be on the "who do you want to die" poll. He showed no respect at all for Joe. Sold him out for a few pieces of silver. "Man gotta have a code". He showed none. Family should count for something. Even when D was eliminated, he was killed because he was considered a liability. Cheese cooperated IMO because he was pissed off by Joe's words at the last co-op meeting. disgusting. -- Blu "Crown ain't worth much if the nIgga wearin' it always gettin' his sh!t took." These guys trying to put spoilers up here don't know what they're talkin about anyway. They drove to BMORE from some lil suburb they live in somewhere in white boy maryland and got stiffed on a chopped up ass bootleg. They don't know what's going on. Just like these little lace curtain fags that get there money taken trying to buy dope in the hood. These guys putting up these spoilers are in all intents and purposes Snitchin and we know what happens to a snitch. SNITCH BITCH
