"We are just glad we were able to come to the agreement," Ellerbe said. "Oscar is a great businessman, him and Richard both. The negotiations were smooth. We didn't have any problems. This is about giving the fans what they want. And it's about Floyd's legacy in the sport. Floyd wants to go down as the best ever and Oscar is the biggest name in the sport."

Im not tryin diss at all homie. I actually wanna see The Warriors beat the Jazz but its a few flaws with this team that I dont think will allow them to win the series.

I watched game 1 and what tha heck was all that shooting about man....sometimes they just dont seem like they can keep their composure. Once you take all them shots and none of them go....you gotta start taking it to the hole...they never did that they just kept settling 4 tha shot...and unlike Dallas, Utah can grab them rebounds so Warriors cant afford to shoot all them jumpers cuz its not easy to get tha offensive rebound against UTAH.

Another thing is that they gotta learn how to slow up their pace in certain times of the game....like if you got a good lead with a couple mins left in tha game you cant just keep bringing tha ball up court with high speed fast breaking and shooting you gotta slow up tha pace, pass it around and let tha clock run....thats why I think they lost to Dallas in game 5.

I love their spirit, energy, aggressiveness and hustle but they just gotta get to being a lil more discipline if they wanna have a good playoff run.

Much love to all The Warrior fans and congratulations on the success so far im sure yall must be real proud to be fans right now.....I wanna see them make it far but they just gotta work on the flaws.

I thought it was hilarious how Mayweather came out on Cinco de Mayo wearing De La Hoya's colors and he wasn't even wearing them. That was crazy funny. I also never seen a boxer come out to live music...50 cent walking side by side rapping...how genuis was that?

Thanks, I am watching now. I am getting increasingly disgusted that people are already downplaying his victory. Where I am from a win is a win regardless of how close. They say one more round and it would have been a draw...guess the world may never know....what we do know is that Mayweather won...simply put.

I am disappointed that Maywaether has already started to waver on his retirement in a matter of an hour. He is feeling the pressure to prove himself and in my humble opinion if people don't already respect his craft and his expertise of that craft it doesn't matter how many fights he engages in...they will never get it. They treat Hopkins the same way and he is the best no doubt.

I am sooooo happy that this fight wasn't staged as I anticipated. I really thought that because Oscar was promoting it that he would win, but not so...not so. It was clear tonight who the real champion is b/t the two of them.
Tonight Oscar was an entertainer and Mayweather was a precision fighter. Sure, he didn't land any combinations, but he landed powerful, pure, precise punches...no doubt about it. People can say what they want about Mayweather, but he talks trash and backs it up undoubtedly.
His daddy needs to go sit down somewhere or say no comment to questions that make him to appear to be against him.

Mayweather retiring shouldn't be an issue. What more does he have to prove? He has fought in 5 different weight classes, he is a 6 time world champion, he is 30 and still in good health and he is mega rich What does he have to continue to fight for... to entertain us? That isn't fair...he is not only an outstanding fighter, but a smart business man.

Tonight he beat Oscar, Moseley and the trainer Roach because all three put together couldn't come up with an efficient game plan to defeat him.

GOOOOOOOOOOOO Mayweather...I love you!

Well Fam the fight is a wrap.

IF YOU DONT WANNA KNOW WHO WON DONT READ THIS POST

Floyd Mayweather won by Split Decision.

It was a weird fight because neither one of them really put on much of a performance because they respected each other too much.

Floyd didnt really take control of the fight like MOST people thought he would....De La Hoya seemed like the more aggressive one at times but at the end of the fight Floyd Mayweather landed the most punches.

Mayweather landed 207 of 481 punches
De La Hoya landed 122 of 587 punches

It was a very complicated fight for De La Hoya cuz Mayweather was just way too fast for him so De La Hoya just kept depending on landing one big punch to hurt Mayweather but he never landed that punch.

Floyd Mayweather showed that he respected De La Hoya because he didnt go toe to toe with him. He was busy but not as busy as he normally is against his opponents he was way more cautious then ive ever seen him before.

After watching this fight I have alot of respect for both Mayweather and De La Hoya cuz even though it wasnt the most entertaining fight it was a good fight and both fighters fought smart thats why it was a split decision.

So By split decision Floyd Mayweather wins and becomes the new WBC Junior Middleweight Champion.

Peace out Fam

Fatplatypus I would suggest calling the cable company, they can tell you exactly whats going on and just keep them on the phone till the problem is fixed. Tell them you not hanging up till you see it on your TV. Thats how I have to do it.

Good luck with that.

Isn't that funny how a brawler and a boxer aren't the same at all. I remember the Bowe/Holyfield fights. Holyfield said his mistake was trying to go toe to toe with Riddick. That's what makes boxing different from just fighting. It's a skill that many don't appreciate or understand, but it when it works, it's a thing of beauty.

Yeah, I saw that fight and Judah looked good early but Mayweather got it together and had the fight in hand. Maybe he came in too cocky, who knows? He won't let De La Hoya surprise him. If he will fight smart and listen to Roger (who will try to make him fight smart and not let De La Hoya make it a brawl, his only chance I think) he should wear De La Hoya out.

Hell its not his fault that they can't find anybody good for him to fight. I don't think all the chumps he beat up were that bad, he just makes them look bad. I think he's that good.

I am also not buying into all the hype either. They are just trying to sell the fight. He might even carry Oscar a little so people will want a rematch. He won't get this kind of a payday against anybody else.
