Host Sky: I took it upon myself to do a search on EBAY, to look for seasons 1 - 4 of The Wire, and I see where you can purchase (Buy Now) seasons 1 - 4 for $169.88, or the choice to give it your Best Offer. I'd start with a Best Offer of $155.00, and hope that gets over with the seller. There's another seller who has seasons 1 - 4, and bidding is at around $152 now, but this seller has opened the DVD's, and watched them. Crazy! I wouldn't buy those. The other seller, 1st mentioned, has season 1 - 4 brand new, in the package, never opened, and sealed. That's who I'd go with. You ever buy anything off EBAY? If so, you know the game.

I'd like to see Namond again, just to see how he's doing. Maybe in a cameo with Bunny or something, I don't know. But, when Michael slapped him, I swear that was one of the funniest sights that I'd ever seen (lol). -- "It's not that you do shit, it's how you do it." "Shit. I'll take any motherfuckin' money if he givin' it away, now." "That's right. Wee-Bey walked in Jessup a man, and he gon' walk out one. But you out here, wearing his name, acting a bitch." "You don't what, motherfucker? This how you pay me back for all the love I showed? Shit... I been kept you in Nikes since you were in diapers." "The bigger the lie, the more they believe." "Don't sleep on Marlo, he up in some shit here."

Host Sky: You can probably find seasons 1 - 4 on EBAY. I did. Just do a search under DVD's, and type in The Wire. If you find it, you can start bidding, or you might find where it says Buy Now. It'll be worth having seasons 1 -4, because I find myself going back to those previous seasons to try and understand things, and see how things got started. I'm watching season 1 now (5 DVD's in the set), along with season 5 on HBO, on Sunday nights.

Namond may have lost his street credibility by walking away from his package. Combine that with Michael slapping him around at Cutty's and now he can't even fake it like he had been doing with Dukie all of Season Four. However, I believe it takes heart of a different kind to not only realize the drug life is not for him, but to actually have the guts to walk away from it. If Namond makes an appearance this season, I hope its not on the street. He has no place and no business going near another corner... > I hope that punk a*s Namond don't come back! I'd like to see Shardene just because she's so damn fine. But her connection to the series was D'Angelo and Orlando. Last time I checked, neither of them are available for comment! -- "...I gotcha phone tapped. Whatcha gon do? Sooner or later we'll have your whole crew. I didn't think he would, since he's supposed to be in the Witness Protection Program, look out for young Nico at least once this season. It's as if everyone from previous seasons is making a final casting call...Who's next? Ziggy shanks Avon in Jessup? -- "...I gotcha phone tapped. Whatcha gon do? I would had sent him straight to > 'baby booking' for a night; just to teach that pony > tail wearin', cry baby, a lesson. I don't know, it could be interesting. Think about it: He's a teenager who seems to be caught between wanting to be all 'gangsta' whether to live up to daddy or prove a point to himself, but in the end just doesn't seem to have the backbone. Not that in the real world I'd wish anyone find THAT kind of backbone, but in the show, who knows what he could do? Turn away from that life and go straight because HE felt it was right? Pick up a gun and be a young, heartless killer because his mother didn't show him enough love - or some other psychological mumbo-jumbo? I'll admit my knowledge of the show is piecemeal - I don't own the previous seasons and haven't been able to watch every episode on HBO yet - so I could be far off-base about him, but I think even the more annoying characters add a lot of depth and interest to the show. -- Sky HBO Forums Host

I hope that punk a*s Namond don't come back! He was the biggest punk on the show. After Michael slapped little Kenard around, then told him to take his 'package' back, Namond stood there saying, "I ain't want it, I ain't want it!" Then ran away. What a geechie way to talk. "I ain't want it!" What kind of ghetto sh*t is that? His own Mother called him a bi*ch, and slapped the sh*t out of him, then punked him again when she asked him why was he afraid to go to 'baby booking'. Another scene I hated Namond was when all he could say to Colvin was, "F you, F you, F you!" Then later he's beggin' Colvin not to send him to baby booking. Then Colvin takes him home to live with him and his wife. I would had sent him straight to 'baby booking' for a night; just to teach that pony tail wearin', cry baby, a lesson.

What about the drug dealer, Scar? Do you think he could be a factor?

Brother Mouzone HAS to come back. Remember those NY bodies Chris and Snoop caught on the eastside? Maybe a NY dealer is paying his fee to avenge those murders. Just a thought....

Savino has appeared and is now muscle for Marlo. Randy will make an appearance in at least one episode (probably Ep# 56). Nick Sobotka is in protective custody after cooperating against the Greeks so I doubt we'll be seeing him. Naymond & Bunny may have a one episode cameo much like Avon & Serge. I only see Donut making an appearance if there is a cameo like that Port Worker (the one who helped Ziggy steal those Mercedes for the Greeks) who is now homeless. I think the most notable absence has been Poot. He was working Michael's corner at the end of Season Four but has not appeared at all this season. -- "...I gotcha phone tapped. Whatcha gon do?
