Summary: According to the Constitution: "...Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors". Treason and Bribery are clear. The definition of "high Crimes and Misdemeanors" was left intentionally vague by the founders but is generally considered to refer to misconduct or a violation of the public trust that is injurious to society. They are not limited to statutory violations (breaking regular laws). Let's collaborate on a list, Wireheads. Factual only. I'll type it up as a list to notify voters in all our home towns, anyone who'd like to make and distribute copies to their neighborhoods or local free papers can use it. I'll let the community here edit the final draft before completing it. C'mon Wire Folks! Together we can make a difference. Don't like the problems showcased so poignantly on The Wire? Let's get off our butts and try to do something about them! Vote right, get the word out to others to help them make a good decision. Let's Roll . . ~* I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way *~

Tavis Smiley rendered a heartfelt, farewell commentary today on the Tom Joyner Morning Show. He has been on his show for 12 years. He'll be missed on the show but he'll be doing other things now. -- Peace, sg You gon' let me hold that card! You all on me for? I do my work. -- Edited by stellagroove at 06/26/2008 5:55 PM PDT

Tim Russert was a journalist that I trusted. I'd watch his coverage over the others because he was honest, warm, fair and likeable. Tim Russert asked good questions of his guest and he didn't spin the news like a lot of other journalist did and I loved Tim for that. I looked forward to watching Meet The Press every Sunday. He was such a vibrant man and I am truly saddended today. It feels like I lost a member of my family. I'll miss you Tim Russert. -- "I come here to help but yall out for blood". "Close your eyes, it won't hurt none. Yeah, there now. *** - relax, breathe easy"...... Where's my stash? Package up my ass Gump! Dat's right, Weebey walked in Jessup a man and he gone walk out one, but chu out here wearing his name, acting like a bitch.

RIP Tim Russert. You made the world of politics interesting and easy to follow AND you weren't afraid to ask the hard questions. Meet the Press will never be the same now...... Peace? He will NOT come out and say these people were lying, it was just the "campaign culture" and Washington bubble", and "the game". How can you call starting a war, sending Americans to their deaths, horrible injuries and untold cost a game? Last night Jon Stewart really pushed him to say there were lies and deceptions but McClellan wouldn't. But I think Stewart got the point across. The trouble is it's the faithful who already believe who watch this show. Unfortunately I haven't seen "real" newsmen push this hard. I also fing it interesting that the attacks on McClellan have been more personal rather than aimed at the facts from the book.

I think that I posted this before but I just had to say it again considering the times we are in. The Bush administration is up to something (duhhhhhhhhhh). Dragging the oil companies into hearings, in my opinion, is a sham and aimed at one thing. Drilling for more oil in Alaska. Even now the oil execs are basically trumpeting something that Mr. Bush has said almost from day one of his reign and that is that they wanted from the get go to drill on lands that wildlife preserves in Alaska for what they believe are vast amounts of oil here on our own turf. Now with the oil execs getting drilled, so to speak, in congress it seems as though they have started to believe the same that this is the answer to our high gas woes. Coincidence? I think not. Mark my words, this administration is up to something and trying to leave some kind of positive legacy before Bush rides into the sunset. Oh and Rainy, CONGRATS ON REACHING THE 5000 MILESTONE!!!!!!! I'm glad that I'm the one that put you over the top. Wasn't intentional but glad that it worked out that way..... Peace? If not now................................When?? -- If it is not advantageous, do not move. If objectives cannot be attained, do not employ the army. Unless endangered do not engage in warfare.
