I see the actors with the main roles in The Wire in other projects like, Idris, Lance Reddick (Daniels), Lester (he's going to be in new HBO project with David Simon), Jamie Hector and I've seen Michael K. Williams. Oh the young guy who played Michael has been on Bev Hills 90210 and in The Secret Life of Bees. I think he is going to go far. I think Michael and Idris will probably get more starring films or at least that is how it seems to be going. Although Wendell Pierce has been in alot of projects too.

I think Wood Harris does those kind of Art House films or Indie films that don't get alot of mass audience play. I think he got stuck in the gangsta films and it may be limiting for him. That may be what is happening to Hassaan Johnson (wee-bey), Slim Charles (Anwar Glover) and I have no idea what films Snoop will be in. I think Snoops accent will limit her film choses because she is hard to understand. I'd like to see them all do well, but some may get more breaks than others.

New project for McNulty. And for you "Rome" fans, Atia's in it too.

Omgoodness! I saw Chris and Weebay in Dark Blue last night, totally unexpected. Chris was a mean kidnapper and Weebay was his asst.

I couldn't believe they had Weebay playin' the not so cool role, man I miss seeing their faces, especially W.'s because Chris seems to be in a lot of things but W. has been M.I.A. since the Wire went off the air.

You know I am glad I didn't see that at the movies, I almost did but that movie just didn't seem like it was that great. I try to support black actors and actresses but some stuff you know isn't all that and we ARE in a recession! I'll wait for it to come to cable.
I do know actors have to do the ok movies until they can get their name out and get the opportunity and freedom to have the choice in what they do. Wood is pretty good actor so I would like to see him "make it."

"The Bunk" was on Hawthorne last week playing an uppity doctor whose son was in the hospital and . . . well, you have to catch an encore show for the rest.

He was good in his role, though, please believe!

I heard an interview with "The Bunk" and Tom Joyner yesterday morning on the Tom Joyner Morning Show (radio program).

"The Bunk" said he will appear on Jada Pinkett-Smith's new show HawthoRNe, on TNT, Tuesdays at 9:00 pm, either during the fifth or sixth episode.

He also spoke about the work he is doing in his hometown (the New Orleans area) which is fantastic!!!

Well, I don't have an account with them but this is how I would explain it:

It's another, free, on-line social networking site. People keep you posted regarding what they are doing throughout the day.

His address is: www.twitter.com/driis

Tell your friends to check it out, if they haven't already, he plays his music up there, puts up pics of himself and he even put up a pic of him daughter a few months ago.

I love it 'cause Jawn Murray (from Tom Joyner's radio show) is the celebrity/entertainment news guy and he keeps everyone informed. For example, he told us about the cruise they just took, his interviews with Jada Pinkett-Smith, Rueben Studdard, etc., who he ate lunch with, the hotels, etc.

Yes, he is great also. I saw him in Next Day Air but I could have waited for that bad boy to come on cable, for real (lol)!

I just saw our guy "Chris" in the movie entitled, "The Taking of Pelham 123". I didn't know he was in this one. Don't want to give anything away but it was good to see him.

(Denzel Washington and John Travolta star in this film)

Looks like Clay Davis finally got out of politics and is in direct competition with Cutty Wise for boxing coach of the year...
