Saw The Incredible Hulk the other day, Omar is in it for like 5 seconds.
It was in the middle of an action scene. Otherwise I would've started cheering.

I saw our guy Avon Barksdale in a movie entitled "Dirty".
The movie was terrible, imo, but Avon (Wood Harris) played his role well. You know what he was, don't ya????

I finally watched the movie G last night with Andre Royo (Bubbs) and Sonja Sohn (Kima). It was funny seeing them have a conversation together, all I can think of is their interractions on The Wire.

Lance 'Cedric Daniels' Reddick has been pretty busy. First a bit role in Lost and now he's going to be in a new show on Fox called Fringe starting this fall.

These have probably been mentioned somewhere in the depths of this infinite post, but Wood Harris (Avon) is in the excellent and highly underrated Southland Tales playing an arty Neo-Marxist hipster called Dion who is known as 'the John Lennon of the Venice Beach underground'. So there you go. And Seth Gilliam (Sgt Ellis Carver) is in Starship Troopers, boyeeee.
Also wasnt until I saw Gone Baby Gone that I realised that Academy Award nominee Amy Daniels is Beadie from The Wire!
Plus at least half the people from The Kill Point were in The Wire. Shame it seemed so very lame.

So it is about 4am on the East Coast and I am channel surfing trying to find something on. I end up hitting the movie channels and wondering what each movie is about. I come upon a movie called Dirty Work staring Lance Riddick as "Manning". He grew out sort of a rough beard look and looks hardcore as all hell. If he had the same rough beard look as Lt/Col Daniels, he would have been the absolute sh*t for the Brass.

I know everytime I see this movie I post the characters from The Wire...but after watching Something The Lord Made again (love that movie) I realized Mos Def brother in the movie is none other than Orlando (Season 1)!! He looks all cleaned up, short hair and some glasses looking way better than he did on The Wire.

Too lazy to look through all 105+ pages of this thread, but
Lance Reddick (Lt / Col Daniels) has been seen on Season 4 of Lost (I hope to see more of him because his character looks crucial in the development of the main characters) and will be on a show called "Fringe" which will air on FOX in the Fall. He will be playing (according to IMDB) Phillip Broyles.
